According to my home scale, I've lost 4 pounds since the initial weigh-in. It will be interesting to see if the scale tonight at the weigh-in agrees. I have been unable to adjust my schedule to include more exercise (I've been to the gym twice). Working two" always-sitting" jobs around family dinners and leading two Girl Scout troops (my only fun time-consumer) usually leaves me with the option to get up at 5:00 am and go to the gym at 5:30 (but be back in time to get kids up and lunches packed for school by 6:00 am) or to work out after 9:30 pm, and miss out on time with my husband. I am excited that this Saturday morning looks to be open to hit the gym. I have also added a scheduled walking event that makes a difference by signing up for March for Meals to benefit the Lake County Meals on Wheels program. The 2-hour walk is in the Great Lakes Mall, so we can do it rain or shine.
If I can find a full-time job that leaves my evenings open, my schedule would be so much freer, and open, and I know it would make the biggest difference.
